people wanna know why the Oilers passed on Wallstedt, Stuart Skinner is why, Skinner is the Future in net for the Oilers if he isn't already he is gonna be the starter by the TDL, and also Xavier Bourgault has 16g 15a and 31pts in 17gp and leads the QMJHL in points he had 40pts in his draft year

Duncan Keith has been fantastic so far in this game and Caleb Jones (and Seth) had a turnover that led to a goal lol

Chicago's 1st round pick is only lottery protected if it ends up being a top 2 pick.

With the new lottery rules, there is a potential scenario where the Blackhawks claw back to 21st in the standings, miss the playoffs, win a draft lottery, and hand Columbus the 3rd overall pick. Or they could continue losing and finish bottom 3, then lose both lotteries and still hand Columbus the 3rd overall pick.

But hey, they got there guy. 🤷‍♂️

And, y'know, even if the lottery protection does kick in, a non-protected pick in the Bedard-Michkov-Fantilli draft is a bit of a cloud hanging over the team for the next year.

The way I perceived it was (which I could be wrong) - was that no government attendees or anyone similar.

So the government and government officials and what not; they don’t acknowledge or support or attend the event. They’re doing it for a good reason I guess but we as fans won’t be affected much I would presume.

Just probably a talking point on the Olympic coverage programs down time.

That's a huge relief

If that happens, this could end up being the worst trade in NHL History (considering the contract the Blackhawks gave Jones too)

Almost as laughable as not only picking him for the Olympics, not only picking him as one of the FIRST THREE PLAYERS for the Olympics, but picking him over Adam Fox, Zach Werenski, Jaccob Slavin, Charlie McAvoy, Torey Krug, John Marino, Ryan McDonagh, etc., etc.

tears of joy Ah, Dangle's just the greatest, even when he's being obnoxious, annoying, and enormously entertaining all at once

OK, stupid video doesn't work because there's a dash in the video URL, heading over to the site discussion forum to alert Banks himself

All of these goals are fantastic, to the point where there probably isn’t another hockey player that could have pulled them off. And 2 of the top 3 goals from this video were scored in the last two weeks. How is he still getting better, McDavid is unbelievable.

can’t embed because there are too many @s

Absolutely gorgeous shorthanded goal by Alex Texier-and against Selke finalist Mark Stone, no less:

Well last night's game is a great example of the Habs this year, they have potential but they can't play good for a full 60 minutes

Bobcat’s Post Game Notes, Game 15

Jackets lose, 3-2 against the Vegas Golden Knights.

5uzh5u.jpgGAME FIFTEEN! GIVE IT UP FOR GAME FIFTEEN!

-Max Domi is back on the roster. Let’s hope he doesn’t get hurt again. I want him to catch at least one break.

-All aboard the Gus Bus! Gustav Nyquist scores 45 seconds in. I like these hot starts.

-Alex Texier absolutely undressed Mark Stone on his way to an amazing goal. Nice shootin’, Tex.

-I went to bed at the end of the first period at 2-0. It was a bit of a shock to wake up to a 3-2 loss.

-Alex Pietrangelo had Elvis dead to rights, on the ground with his mask off and doinked it off the post. That’s a dang-it.

-That was an absolutely terrible pass by Jake to spark the 2-2 goal. What the hell was that?

-Elvis got psyched out by a broken stick on the eventual game winner. There was a bit of discussion as to whether or not that play was offsides, but the highlight video never shows that angle.

Thats some good offensive skill for a player who gets like 20% offensive zone starts and 80% defense!

It’s 1:53 and I am not out of bed I’m just thinking about how Barry Trotz could inject more veteran presence into the islanders lineup since that is clearly what we’re lacking

Trade Oliver Wahlstrom and your first round pick for Nick Foligno

That could work

Chara cost them the game last night and Trotz said he played well. Might be time to get rid of both of them.
