Canadians legitimately murder people with kindness. It’s a VERY true stereotype

Come to North York if you'd like to be murdered with something else.

Though there are larger urban centres in the Maritimes, they retain that small-town feel, and you will readily become friends with many of the people who live here. Visitors to the Maritimes always go home thinking about how nice, generous, and hospitable Maritimes are. We’re known around the world for being some of its kindest people.

Not sure if you live there but could not be more wrong.

I mean ****:

I live in Nova Scotia. I have my entire life. I've lived in Dartmouth, Lawrencetown, Cole Harbour, Halifax, and now Falmouth (if you're familiar). Unless you're out of the city, the people are not very nice. Most of them are stuck up and don't even bother to have a conversation with you. I don't know how often you travel around the maritimes, but unless you're in any small community, the people are not nice.

I do, I have surfed in Broad Cove, Lawrencetown, Cherry Hill before. Been to Newfoundland, NB, I feel bad that’s your perception. I had lived in the Maritimes for a long time.

Ok, now back to hockey

When I saw your first comment I was a little confused, but now it makes sense, in the Maritimes the small communities are the nicer ones compared to the big city’s. I live in a friendly town of about 1k or something like that, and the communities close to us aren’t that big either. The number of stories I hear from people I know who live in big city’s are special to say the least.

Place like Moncton and Saint-John are probably the worst, and the downtown area is even worse.

Don’t let the big city’s ruin our image.

"Gunshot" is more probable.

I'd dig it except I can already see him taking a 5 Minute Major in a very important game that costs us winning gold.

134 PIM in 82 Playoff games tell me otherwise. His game is very dangerous when you have to play so safe in the Olympics. Same for Kadri really.

Nah, I'd rather him not play so that he doesn't risk injury (I'd love that for guys like Ovi and Kuzy but that's not really an option right now).

Forget Wilson for team canada, lets get TJ Sochi back on the roster. (I've been waiting years for the revival of TJ Sochi)

It's an older article, but still interesting to see how some of these teams (looking at you Washington) somehow manage to have so few Canadians. And now we are down to only 3 countries with one player representation with Protas being the second Belarussian.

Rebuild incoming.

Kinda reminds me of that NYR rebuild announcement.

Curiously Gorton was one of the key personnel responsible in that as well.
