Peeke is still young, and is almost certainly an upgrade over Josh Brown or Nikita Zaitsev, but I don't really see much more than a 3rd pair guy, and as it stands I'd much prefer seeing Lassi Thomson in a regular NHL role right now.

As far as trading Sokolov goes, I can't imagine it makes sense right now. The team loves him, he's been really good for a pretty weak Belleville squad, and he's just a great personality to have around.

I'd rather have Peeke than Sokolov, and I'm not sure Zucker for Nyquist does anything for CBJ. The whole point of trading Nyquist would be to open up a roster spot for the young guys.

I'm kind of meh on Appleton for Bemstrom.

Fun fact Sokolov went undrafted for 2 years and was actually an undrafted invitee to Columbus' dev camp and they let him go, then Senators spent a 2nd round pick on him
