So instead of paying Okposo $6M, BUF gets to pay a different washed up guy $8.5M? I don't see any reason for them to consider this.

The deal doesn't really help Buffalo, KO is currently having a better year and you have Buffalo retaining a ton of cap and you arent compensating them at all for doing so... MAybe add a 1st ... seems appropriate for retaining 3m x 2years

Sabres decline, there just isn't any point in a deal like this for Buffalo.

Honestly BUF declines this, Okposo is playing very well this season and his contract only goes for next season, and I could see us resigning him for cheap. I want him to be captain right now. IK its cheeper but i would mich rather have Okposer than Zucker

Dont see either team doing it. Pens dont need another righty. I also think Okposo is a leader in that locker room and they could definitely use him. Interesting swap, but just cant see it happening.

I agree with all of you.
Kyle moved his family from Minnesota to Buffalo, I think he will retire a Sabre.
He is certainly over paid for his production, but he is really strong along the boards and maintaining possession.
Yes, he should be the caption.
