He's got term remaining after this season, you'll likely have to give up a prospect of some kind on top of the Ritchie and Engvall. It won't be hard for another team to beat 2 picks from a year away and cap dumps.

Dvorak was a center who had 1 good season and Arizona sold high when all the indicators were he'd fall back down to earth. Meanwhile Miller is a player with a history of success, finding it even on a horrible Canucks team this season, whos most points in a season is almost double Dvorak. He's not the comparable you are looking for. Even if he was that comparable, you are giving the Canucks less than that by asking them to eat bad cap. The reality is that a 2022 1st and a low B high C prospect from another team is more valuable than what you've given the Canucks here, it will easily be outbid.

Many teams would beat this offer, you could start by changing the 1st round pick to the 22' draft.

Certainly not cap friendly at all when Mrazek returns soon.

The cap dumps would cost you a second alone.

30 other teams would beat a late future first in an offer for Miller 😂
