That is terrible for the Ducks, they dont trade just Perreault or just the first for that let alone both and a third, They are rebuilding and just fired the GM, what about that says they trade top end futures for underwhelming veterans

Really, I would think that Nashville could use an Armia type player for the middle 6. Oh well guess not lol

Yeah I wasn't sure how the Ducks would feel about that, they look like a playoff team this year but also are trying to rebuild.

Only a few guys in the league we’d do that deal with and 29 year old Toffoli isn’t one

Fair enough, I reverted that and the Nashville trades

The most we give up for that package (without the MTL 2nd) would be like a 3 and a 4 tops. Even if the Ducks are still in the playoff race come the deadline we probably sell our veterans before we consider adding other ones

I'd do a lotto protected 2023 1st+3rd for Toffoli. Basically the same return as Tampa got for JT Miller in 2019.

Zero interest in moving Perreault, acquiring Lehk, or sending a 1st round pick without conditions anywhere. With the potential to lose Hampus, Manson, and Rakell this offseason, there's a 0 percent chance that I'd gamble with that pick.

Edit: And that's only if we're firmly in a playoff spot at the deadline.

This is not a trade it just represents us getting our 1st back since it will be in the top 10.

He's not awful, that's just an overpayment for an overpaid bottom 6 forward -- and NSH has a plethora of options for the bottom 6 this year and next.

Though a few years back I used to think Jarnkrok - Sissons - Armia would've been a great 3rd line.
