They are not going to go on the road with a 21 man roster. I will be very surprised even with a healthy Mikheyev, Engvall is taken off that 3rd line. It is Keefe's most trusted line. Numbers and eye test prove that. Salary will be moved out, who is the million dollar question tho

Thats my point they will carry 22-23 players on the road liljegren and 2 other waiver exmept players. Just because they send a player to the AHL doesnt mean they have to go play for them. They can stay and practice with the big club at home and on the road. These transactions are called paper transactions

Lmfao, you can’t travel with them. Yes, you can absolutely send Liljegren or Semyonov down while in Toronto as “a paper transaction”. You most certainly can’t travel with them 🤦‍♂️

I have seen teams call players up while on the road on numerous ocations. If they call an AHL player up and send Liljegren down ( paper transaction) while on the road they do not have to send him home.

So basically you are saying no roster limits, free for all, teams can just carry as many waiver exempt players as the want on the road.
