No thanks. No reason to move Asplund, even though that's a good return

Welcome to CF

Everyone here loves to trash everything constantly

Even solid AGMs like this that just need tinkering

In every world. There is no scenario where buffalo turns down a first for asplund.
Asplund is great love him. But he is a bottom 6 forward. If someone offers a 1st you gotta take it

Asplund has certainly surprised me the past two seasons since he started playing with Thompson.
Last season I thought it was Mittelstadt that was bringing out the best in him.
YTD Kerfoot 2 goals 11 pts, Asplund 5 pts 11 pts.
Buffalo LW depth Skinner, Olofsson, Girgensons, Peterka, Bjork and Krebs.
I really like Asplund since he was drafted and IMO was one of Murray's better picks, but to get Kerfoot and a first, my friends I would have to think a long time before I would pass on this, EDIT: drop the 3rd going to the Leafs and I think I would do the deal.
Add a good pick for Miller this could be a monster draft for Buffalo with 6 first or second round picks.

I have reconsidered my first thought.
Check out these two comparisons:

Based on past performance, Buffalo should be adding to the trade.
I really liked Asplund as I said previously, but to get Kerfoot and a first, I could not turn that down.
I think too many Sabre ACGM are viewing this trade with biased eyes, it strongly favors Buffalo.

Yeah that's fair

Seems like he could be a Charlie coyle style elite 3rd liner tho which is honestly a pretty good outcome for a very late 1st but yeah definitely valid

Damn that's actually a pretty cool trade value wise

Ironic given Kerfoot is that type of guy too

Cool beans 🎉
