because I apparently misread something somewhere lol and thought it was him who was struggling and could maybe use a change and that they needed help with the pk and that Dowling could possibly help them

Rathbone/Schneider pretty much a wash just a swap of handedness it's basically miller for a 1st and a cry baby

Rangers don't have room for Rathbone with Lindgren, Miller, Jones, Robertson, and Nemeth on the team.

Schneider is highly regarded in the organization and not someone they are going to trade unless it's 1C level.

Kravtsov + 1st and another piece like Strome could work for NYR if VAN doesn't like other offers but that's the most they'll for JT Miller. Cap space is also an issue moving forward here.

Btw, Schneider is a better prospect than Rathbone. it's not that close tbh.

Don’t need another LD prospect. Especially considering it’s a downgrade imo. We traded up for Schneider and he appears to be highly thought of in the organization so I can’t see him being moved in the deal above.

Van isn’t trading rathbone especially when they could get that return or close to it without him in the deal.

Cool cool cool, the leafs take on two awful players as cap dumps, despite the fact that they are competing for a cup and not rebuilding, whilst also PAYING you a premium to acquire them instead of accruing assets. Also 4th liners (Motte) apparently go for 3rd round picks now?

there isnt anything remotly realistic that vancouver could ever offer to get the leafs to take myers even if they retained 50%. He's so bad and that contract is even worse

literally only reason I added it was I saw some leafs fans make the proposal and a bunch of people say they liked it and would want it lol
