This is a reasonable turnaround.

Wild accept. In fact it's probably too low, switch the 5th for at least a 3rd, and call it square.

The Oilers are getting decent goaltending out of Koskinen/Skinner and Smith is a few weeks from returning. Crease will already be crowded, no point added a 4th goalie into the mix. Now if anyone has one of them LHD, the OIlers could sure use one with our entire starting LHD crew injured.

I don't think the Isles would want Pearson. Boeser retention is I guess helpful but he's an RFA at year end so it's really not doing a lot for us.

Minnesota isn't adding Beckman and a 2nd to Fiala to get Miller. That's a massive overpayment.

Ignoring the bromance for that stud Fiala…

Do tell what you give for Miller rather than be non constructive?

I wouldn't give anything for Miller. But you could start by taking out Beckman.

Some are overvaluing jt due to players he plays with. Points aren't only thing that determines a player's worth

Lol what? That’s a huge underpayment for Miller. Fiala is significantly worse and needs a new deal this summer and has a track record of asking for way to much money already. Fiala boldy and a 2nd is reasonable maybe Van would even retain some if that’s the return

The underlying numbers don't agree.

Minny homerism. Good luck with them. Lol

Waste of time. Canucks hang up & move on.

They only have 2 LHD, one isn't available and the other isn't worth acquiring. Cap would be an issue with either.

I'd love to see if Boeser is available for a reasonable cost, say Kassian + 1st?

Yeah, Vancouver isn't the team to chase for LHD, Seattle is a better bet there.

Boeser is going to cost much more than that. He's only 24 and will have RFA status at the end of the year. His career scoring pace is 31G and 66P per 82GP. IF Vancouver is willing to trade him or he wants out, The Oilers can't afford him long term so could only offer a rental price, if he was made available someone is likely to offer a better package with a long term contract in mind.
