Not enough for Larsson, especially if the yotes are going to retain (they already have retention on 2 other contracts OEL, and Kuemper so that would mean they can't retain on a Kessel deal). Larsson is quite good and he's very cheap even without retention. Benson is 23 so not a prospect anymore, hasn't shown anything at the NHL level yet and the 3rd rounder might as well be a 4th considering how good the Oilers are. If you want Larsson you'd have to pay a real price.. like Vegas paying a 2nd and 3rd for Janmark last year

Options are either taking him at full hit and running a 22-man roster until playoffs, or paying a 3rd party team to cover the extra $700K. Larsson has never had the production of Janmark, who also had $1.125M retained, so I think this return is fair for his full cap hit.
