You don't get a prospect like Lambos for a piece like Pavelski, let alone Minnesota adding even more on top. This deal is actually much closer if you take out Lambos completely and don't replace him with anything.

So Leafs trade a long term d-man (top 4 guaranteed, probably top pairing) AND first for 1-3 months of Klingberg?

the value may not be too bad, but the trade doesn’t make sense.

Lol. Easy pass from the Leafs. No way they pay that for a rental.

And even after doing that I still wouldn't make that trade. Some team will, but it shouldn't be us

Sandin is already playing better than Klingberg at this point in their respective careers, you dont get him straight up in that trade, let alone with picks

Switch Dermott with Sandin and the leafs will make that trade. No chance they give up Sandin.

+ Leafs are looking to add on forwards. Pavelski is who they are targetting

Rangers wouldn't trade anything above a 4th for Radulov.

If that. A 1st round pick for a rental....pure nonsense.

Leafs easily decline. We are not trading one our best defensive prospects
