From the responses I've seen on here, it appears as though Comtois is highly valued in ANA. Don't see them being interested in moving him.

Value aside, Ducks decline. Theres no reason to "sell" Comtois, he was injured at the start of the year and while that doesnt fully excuse his slow start it is a factor in it.

Ducks have been looking for a player like Comtois since we traded Bobby Ryan (Current Leaf Nick Ritchie was one failed attempt)

He only gets moved (in a package) for a massive upgrade, anything else is rather pointless for the Ducks to do

Lingering injury + thats how the Ducks handle most young players, we did it with Terry last season and look at him now

The only people that read into him being scratched are non-Duck fans

You mean like Bobby Ryan cause he got hands injury too? Just kidding, I know what you mean. I love Comptois, he will bounce back after his surgery. But watching him play this year he looked exhausted and wasn't involved as usual

Yeah but we can't get judged for that if you look at his 1 point in 13

All good. Don't really know how long the hand injury was lingering, but he's out for like 6 weeks now anyway.

Even if that wasn't what was affecting him, Eakins usage of him in the first 10 or so games was wonky AF. Something along the lines of 42ish% oZS at even strength (It's up to 46.8% now), which led to only 19 shots in 13 games. His possession numbers were actually pretty solid, and *maybe(???)* it was just an attempt to round out Comtois game a bit? It was certainly a much different role than he had played in his first 90ish games.

I think people feel like we (Ducks fans) overvalue the heck out of him, when in reality we just realize that there's zero reason to move him (unless he's packaged with other assets for a major upgrade with term).

Yea I would agree with that but something not for sale has an extremely inflated price
