If Montreal is asking for a 1st or even this package for Chiarot the Oilers should run fast. Lindholm and Giordano are much better bets if they're willing to spend.. would rather take a swing at a guy like Soucy if those guys aren't available.

I agree. However, I also never underestimate how GM's always make bad, perplexing decisions at the trade deadline. Chiarot will be traded, and someone is bound to give them a first. I don't think it will be Edmonton, but stranger things have happened.

That's a myth. He was worse in the playoffs defensively than he was in the regular season.

I watched every game every year & Chiarot is quadruple time better in the playoffs. You watched zero game, you look at numbers. If you have no idea just don’t talk, seems logic.

He sucked defensively in the playoffs. Worst on the team in many categories.
