I love it when people trade off players to "anywhere" that have no trade clauses.

The Rangers will absolutely not be resigning Smith if they decide to trade for him, they have enough guys like him on the roster.

Georgiev isnt worth the pucks MTL practices with right now, theres no shot he pulls a 3rd round pick.

So were gonna put Reaves on his off wing and take Rooney out of the lineup? Yea that makes a whole lot of sense.

IMO:
-Vegas isn't a seller...they clearly think that they've got space to make it work cap-wise after Eichel returns. I'd also be pretty surprised if Smith, who is putting in another solid season, would take a 2 year deal.
-I don't see why Montreal does this. Georgiev has been well below league average 2 years in a row (plus so far this year), and when Price comes back, they'd have 3 goaltenders plus Monty and Primeau.
-Seems reasonable for Seattle, though I wonder if they'd get a better return by trading those two separately.
-Nemeth has been pretty bad so far this year. Maybe a swap of contracts, but I can't see someone rushing out to gamble on the contract, plus he has a NTC.

If Rask were going to play in the NHL, it would be with Boston.

I like Georgiev but the habs don’t need him… Habs need to be trading assets not receiving them
