Easy no from the Panthers. Try trading that package to a rebuilder instead of a contender, and don't shoot for a Norris-calibre dman.

or if you do shoot for a norris caliber defenseman dont make the deal so laughable
try taking out the cap dump in myers and starting with a hughes or petterson

TBH, the Panthers would probably decline an offer starting with either of Pettersson or Hughes. They have plenty of centers and Hughes is a downgrade from Ekblad on the blueline, which happens to be the Cats' weakness. There's really nothing the Nucks can offer that would make the Panthers want to move Ekblad.

Looking at the trade, it's easy to say the Leafs would be stupid to say no. The only issue is that Boeser is due a new contract and the Leafs aren't exactly in a position to sign a forward to a big contract... I love Boeser I just don't see the fit

Other teams have cap....Leafs can't afford Boesner, and certainly the Rangers can't afford or even want Pearson.
