If I was GM this past summer

Created by: PrisonMike
Initial Creation Date: Nov. 26, 2021
Published: Nov. 26, 2021
Team: 2021-22 Vancouver Canucks
Description
Would have never done the deal with Arizona, now they're stuck with OEL on a huge contract long term. Sure Eriksson, Beagle, and Roussel are expensive, but its only one more year. Schmitt is playing great in Winnepeg so his stats were a reflection of the team, JT Miller and Boeser are hard to say goodbye to but Dahlin is excellent, Bratt is a top 6 winger, Severson a cheaper faster dman than Myers, and a top prospect in Holtz. Lots of cap flexibility.

The Devils trade has to be a joke
Same with the Sabres trade

Jersey wouldn't have done that trade, for two years of Miller. As good as he has been year, Bratt has been solid, and Holtz just might be very good and has years of control

Beat me to it, both decline easily.

Why is it when anyone says “if i was GM” the answer is always make lopsided deals that other teams would not do?

Severson>Myers
Bratt and Holtz > Miller (value)

There's nothing to disagree about
