Any trade involving Miller would require a retention. (Especially at the price you've listed here).

Trading Mrazek in season seems like a stretch to me. (Edmonton and Dallas would not make those deals).

Anointing a goalie who has poor AHL numbers and three NHL starts as the full time backup is foolish. (The sample size is just too small).

Either a troll or a homer post. Mrazek with 2 years at $3.8M after this year and currently carrying an impressive .877 save percentage, that’s simply negative value. I’m assuming he’s been injured too, which doesn’t help his value either.
Holl is with like a 4th maybe. He’s not very good. I’ve seen 1000 leads posts trading him away, and never one other post trading for him.
Oilers also aren’t taking $5.8M in money. Missed the mark by a wide margin on this one boss

Tell me the last time a goalie fetched a 1st rounder in a trade? Their trade value is extremely lacking. Ryan Miller in 2014 is the only one that comes to mind, and with all due respect to Mrazek he's no match for Miller. He's an injury prone 1B goalie, worth maybe a third rounder tops.

Dallas benefits from Hakanpää much more than a relatively low pick. That's an easy no.

Mikko Koskinen has a .908 sv% so by your logic he’s worth what? 2 firsts?

I’ll tell you what, Holland is a nice guy, Toronto can probably have him for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

No way the Oilers do that trade. What is this love for Hakanpaa?

Well, I agree with most of what you say. But Holl, he is excellent value at 2m. Plays 20 minutes a night and big PK time. So many Leaf fans have this obsession of Holl isn't up to Reilly standards, he isn't good enough, and then to think a bottom ender from other teams are so much superior, absolutely silly talk.

He plays like Bogosian and is cheaper than Holl. Dubas offered the same contract that Dallas offered, but he wanted to be with more Finnish players

Sorry, to think you can just "exchange" players and think they are equally as good defies most logic. Holl is a 20 minute a game, player who plays lots of PK. Definitely capable. All those love for bottom enders from other teams, kinda silly. Besides an absurd trade for the Oilers....taking on Mrzarek's cap. Koshiken has a .908 S%, 2.97 GAA, why would the Oilers want Mrzarek?

Look at how Bogosian played when he was in Toronto. I would rather have him in the top 4 over a guy like Holl. Same idea goes with Hakanpaa, I want him in the bottom 4 to either play with Muzzin in a shutdown role or to be on the third pair and protect Sandin

OK now we talking "subjective" values. No reason to think Hakanpaa is this shut down guy over Holl. And if he was, why on earth would Dallas trade a 1.5m X 2 years plus for third rounder? If Hakanpaa is so good, why does he play 6 minutes less a game that Holl and even his PK time is less than Holl.

Ice time doesn't mean anything. Holl wouldn't get more than 12 minutes a night if he played for a team like Tampa. He's playing 20 minutes a night, but doesn't mean he should

So Holl is playing 20 minutes a night for the 8th overall team in the NHL. Hakanpaa is playing 14 minutes a night for a non playoff team. How do justify you his 20 minutes for the Leafs? Gee, how little time would Hakanpaa play for Tampa?
Sorry your distain for Holl and love for Hakanpaa has no logic. It's typical of fans though, they know the mistakes of the players they see the most, and think other players in the league are faultless.
