The Pens definitely need to upgrade the backup position. Is Anderson the answer? Possibly. He's playing solid hockey, so I think there's something there. The Pens don't need, nor do they have room for Butcher. They already have a massive logjam at the LHD position.

Care to rework the trade to just send Anderson?

In no world does Ottawa pay Brannstrom to dump Murray.

Doubt Miller will get a 2nd. He's just the Sabres' Justin Holl. A guy playing big minutes because they don't have anyone else and who isn't top 4 on a decent team. Of course the problem is he's being paid twice as much, I'd rather stick with the cheaper guy who is playing above his skill level rather than trading for a more expensive one.

Stop trying to make Myers to Buffalo a thing; it would be plain idiotic to take him on without getting multiple picks back. Starting with a 1st.

Same goes for the Murray trade.

The Pens definitely need to upgrade the backup position. Is Anderson the answer? Possibly...I was thrilled the Sabres signed Anderson,
I was shocked it was for only the league minimum.
I noticed that the penguins PP was not very good, I thought a PP specialist could be useful.
I will yield to your knowledge of the Penguins.
DeSmith, Casey + 2022 4th round pick (PIT) for Anderson, Craig?

Doubt Miller will get a 2nd. He's just the Sabres' Justin Holl...Holl ZERO points -1, Miller 11 pts +3. Miller's pts rank 14th among all NHL RHS. Holl ranks LAST!
    The Leaf's a team are + 13 while the Sabres are -10.
But some how a RHD who ranks among the top 15 in pts in the NHL is trash.
What sort of blue and white happy pills are you taking?

Stop trying to make Myers to Buffalo a thing... I know, most ACGM think of Tyler as a dump.
I am adding a 2nd to Buffalo and that could be among the top 35 this year, nearly a first.
Finally, Myers would be the Sabres top RHD and Murray could be the GK until Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen or Portillo or Levi are ready.
Brännström would be a really good prospect, I know he is a LHD but he would be better than many first round picks

Someone else posting a trade that doesnt make sense doesnt qualify as justification for you also posting a trade that doesnt make sense. It's a bad trade in this post just like its a bad trade in the other one.

You are both correct, but your comments that the SENS WILL NOT ADD ASSETS to move him also apply to this same belief as we are just guessing.
You are both most likely correct.
IMO, no one claim him, but someone will trade for him.
Once he clears waivers the team that trades for him could put him on waivers without risking losing him.
I sort of wish my Sabres would pick him up as he is a HUGE improvement over Dell.
