In the next game Jersey will be on the second game of a back-to-back so the Jets should have an advantage. That said, I think they are going to squander that opportunity too.

I don't think Chevy would ever do this regardless who the coach is. Also there's no way to get both up, and the only way to do it without waiving someone is to send Ves down. I' said on a previous thread you tagged me in that they should have waived Nash two weeks ago for Gus, Heinola won't come up barring a D man going on LTIR

But yes, something has to change. Whether it's Gus, new lines and new power play units or something more drastic, I don't know what will happen. But if I was a betting man it wouldn't be on the coach getting fired. I just don't see the organization doing it

I honestly think we’re getting trolled. We talk so much about how lowrys linemates become offensive black holes. So what does mo do? Put two of the jets most valuable offensive forwards with him. Great idea Maurice.

Lowry has 4 points in 22 games and consistently gets 14 or more minutes of ice time a game, how does anyone see him as "the best 3rd line center in the league"? Have they never looked at his stats?.. Lol
And it's not like he's playing with slugs or getting tough assignments every shift, I see him out there often against other teams 3rd lines yet still no goals.

I get points aren't everything but ffs you need to outscore your opponent to win the damn game and sometimes your top six just isn't going to be scoring every game, sure would be nice to get some help from that line on the scoresheet once in a ****ing while!

They're in a big slump, I wasn't buying that this team had this high powered offense or great depth, basically everyone has gone cold on this team, gotta wonder if there's more going on in the room or if it is just a slump.

The Jets need to go back to the lineup vs St. Louis as a starting point and replace Harkins with Stastny (injured at the time). In that game the Jets had a 19-6 edge in high danger scoring chances; CF% of 66%; xGF% of 76%. (all stats 5v5)

Will it happen? I doubt it.

I really liked that lineup.
