These are massive overpays. Neither of the AZ guys are worth more than a 4th round pick. And you’re basically giving up two 2nds and a 6th round pick value. I’d maybe do a 6th at best for Holtby retained and they take DeSmith back. And I wouldn’t do Heinen straight up for Smith, let alone add picks.

Crouse is currently playing better than Zucker. The cap relief for next szn is huge too.. Lyubushkin is a solid 3RHD.
Honestly, I think our forward core is alright, but we could defo upgrade that top 6.. would love someone like Miller but he will cost so much..
Hard to see DAL selling Holtby for a 6th.. unless they are forced to move cap, but then they wouldnt retain.
I like our team, but at the same time we could defo upgrade.. The thing is, I dont think management wants to move futures out.

In what way is Crouse playing better than Zucker?
Cool, I’m all for bringing in Lyubushkin to upgrade our 3RD spot, however that doesn’t mean he is worth more than a 4th and that we should massively overpay for him. Even if you want to live in a fantasy land that Crouse is a tad better than Zucker, this is still an overpay.

Just to show you that Zucker is better in literally every way
