I have a lot off issues here.
1. What's your rush? Do you think this team will even compete for a cup. Your just throwing great prospects to the wolves here. Why not let krebs, power, Peterka, and quinn. Have another year of development in the minors while cozens, thompson and mitts get another year of development in the nhl. Then 2023 they can push for playoffs. 2022 You can sign guys on prove it deals to trade at the deadline or fill in for the guys you do trade and then call up these guys from the ahl to finnish the season.
2. Olofson is doing great, however i think 6mil is a mistake and at 26 maybe wants more term. Im not sold on him being a complete enough player or elite scorer to get to 6mil when im already overpaying skinner and have a lot of guys coming up in the system.
3. Same for bryson, his value is in getting him on a good deal. He's great but again with guys we have coming up if we can't keep him on a good deal we'll replace him with a prospect.
4. Your just going to jump portillo over UPL? You don't think it makes more sense to have them a tandem in the minors competing for call ups when one of your anyone available goalies goes down?

Quinn and Samuelsson are for sure ready for NHL full time by next season, absolutely no reason to keep them in the minors especially when we have roster spaces for them. Krebs and Peterka could go either way imo, but I'm sure Krebs makes the team and Peterka probably could have made the Sabres THIS year so ya he will probably play in 2022-2023 in the NHL. Portillo will not be in the NHL for another 2 seasons at minimum. UPL should also not play in the NHL next season unless he deserves a call-up
