90+ Point,PK,PP & Defensively Good Winger who makes 10.9 Mil which would being the price down a bit but he is a multiple player & pick trade type of player & to the capitals they have nothing of interest for Toronto tbh & i don’t think Kyle considers trading him at all

I’d take Wilson over Marner any day of the week. Marner makes too much money. Capitals have no use for him. We have Oshie Wilson Mantha Ovechkin as our top 6 wingers. Marner costs as much as Wilson and Mantha put together lol. Hard pass. Leafs can keep him and I’m sure they would be happy to

The Leafs are right up there with them (would be ahead if it weren’t for petty OTL points)

Yeah I mean why do you need Marner though? Backstrom coming back will help get the most out of Mantha. I would play a Mantha and Oshie w Backstrom. You can trade Kempny + Hags for like 2nd and maybe 4th? Oshie was killing it when he was healthy.

Oshie had 4g 3a in 8games. 40goal 70p pace.
Mantha had 2g 4a in 10 games roughly 50 point pace
Ovechkin is still amazing #3 in points #2 in goals
Wilson 22p in 22gp. 82p pace and 30g pace
Protas is looking really solid 3p in his last 2 games.
Sheary 9p in 18g… 5g that’s a 20+ pace
Hathaway is on a 18-20g pace

This is with the capitals having AHL level centers. Backstrom imo is a top 20 center and he will (like I said) get the most out of these wingers. Hags isn’t great offensively but he’s a guy you can trust vs other teams top players.

imo we already have hags. Ajf is him but with offensive ability

Capitals could give Toronto Wilson + 1st and a prospect and I bet the leafs would take that and run.

Especially with him having a larger cap hit and he plays wing not center. Leafs shouldn’t trade him but if they lose in round 1 again I bet people call for his head first

Lower cap hit BUT he might be a glue guy. Remember capitals traded Laich the one year and fell apart. Locker room guys are important and it could kill chemistry/moral.

Hard to say. That 4th has been amazing. I wouldn’t want to ruin a good thing. Let’s say AJF can score 15-20points a season. Hags puts up similar numbers. Hag just seems worse bc he creates a ton of scoring changes and just doesn’t finish.
