I really like the fit here, but I think studnika, debrusk, a 1st and a 2nd would get it done, or at least where it would start

DeBrusk's QO is over 4M isn't it? That's not great.

Overall a good amount of useful pieces, but if someone offers a higher quality piece then they might win out. For example if the Capitals offered Lapierre + 1st. Studnicka would be a good addition

He's more of a dump to make the money work. Beecher and Frederic are the pieces worth something, and it'd be a bonus if DeBrusk wakes up. DeBrusk is likely UFA anyways, so the QO is meaningless.

If B's aren't willing to give up Lysell or Carlo, then they won't get Miller

i would do that trade but definitely no to anyone that says carlo. B's would just be shooting themselves in the foot moving carlo without a replacement

Larry Brooks has said it's an Eastern Conference team. It's most likely just the agent putting rumors out there to try and make a trade happen. Jim Benning is an idiot but he did get rid of Virtanen extremely fast after the allegations came out so I can't see him bringing in a guy in a similar situation.
