Yeah TB has to send ABB DOWN when Kucherov and Point come back just to have $712cap space they pass and keep their 3. besides TB IS REALLY GOOD WITH 2-5 ROUND PICKS

Edited Nov. 28, 2021 at 11:32 p.m.. Reason: Forgot to add - not worth the long term assets for them to make this deal
I would say drop Bowers or the 2nd and value is there from a COL perspective. But they can't afford to resign him. The Avs have all kinds of capspace next yr, but it all disappears the year after. Rather keep Kadri and Nuke. Thats all the Avs can afford long term. They need to pick up expiring contracts and 1yr deals. Then Lock down 29.

I’m no way shape or form should we take on Evander Kane. Especially not for that salary and especially not if we give up anything in the process.

No worries. It was a move made with the fact that TAMPA has little cap, and could help a little. Could easily deal to different team

How about Bowers & Jost?
Or Bowers & 2nd?
Or Bowers & Barron?

Risk vs reward.
At this stage, I’ll take the risk. Otherwise, I’d stay away, but too little time left, too many bad deals.

Wasn't being nasty just TB really has no space at all and getting a bottom 6 or anyone means they definitely loose off current roster and I really do not see them going that route.

So your logic is that we should make another horrible deal because we’ve recently made too many bad deals? Not sure about that logic there. It isn’t risk vs reward. You’re trading the better player and teammate for a locker room cancer who is close to being out of the league. It’s bad management.

My logic is:
Kane is the higher skilled player.
Kane plays a more physical game.
Kane scores more.
Kane gets more helpers.

Kane finds himself in the penalty box too often.
Takes too many off ice risks.
R wants to be star

So again, your logic is to trade a guaranteed middle 6 winger for a guy that’s got 1 foot out the door of the league cause he is a dbag. E. Kane “wanting to be a star” is the least of his stupidity. He is a cancer and you don’t bring that into a locker room like the pens. Especially considering his contract. Anything more and league minimum is too much.

Bowers and a second is as much as you get. You don't get Jost as well.

You definitely don't get Barron.

Honestly, that imo is pretty fair, spot on value. It’s not what I exactly want, and it’s probably more than COL wants to give. So that tells me it’s probably spot on.
Unless Rust is injured, or goes on a scoring rampage.

You definitely don't get Barron.

You are spot on. But at heart most people care about Championships.
Truly, Kane sucks as a person, but can play hockey. And as long as he is pretty good at it, he will be in the league.

Even though, I think the sharks should be able to terminate the contract. And Kane should be barred from the league by the commissioner. Anything short of that, fans will forgive anything for championships, and that is where we are. 😢
