Mete thought he was too good for us after he "was given chances to succeed on the Senators". He can go be awful somewhere else.

Kind of hard to make these moves when you still have players coming back.

I don't see the value in wasting assets like 2nd round picks to move out players and add to LW when it is stacked with Brady, Stu and Formenton. if anything get a Right-hand shot that can play top 6 RW minutes.

Dermot is a stop gap, and Paul is worth way more than a stop-gap, if the team thinks they can't sign him and need to move him the return at the deadline with lots of teams thinking they are contenders will be much higher.

I think I’d be open to a Dermott - Paul swap.

You’d suck a whole lot less if you land Shane Wright.

Nice catch phrases…
giving up the fight for Wright?
all wrong for Wright?
Playing lame for Shane?
Sinking now will Wright the ship?

i think debrusk and sanford are flexible between RW and LW so it's not too big of a deal.

I also dont think dermotts a stop gap, hes legitimately good hes just mostly stuck behind Muzzin, Reilly, brodie, and holl. Has another year under team control and will be an RFA when that expires. Can play both sides well too.

I would rather get some natural Right hand shots in the line up, specially when we have zero coming in prospect pool besides Boucher.
