1 - Sens do not need that in there lockerroom with so many young players,
2 - Murray is owed more cash then Kane is so I don;t see why Sharks would do it.

We appreciate the sentiment (and taking on Kane's full-fat contract), but I don't think San Jose is the right environment for Murray right now. San Jose is set with their current tandem of goalies, and I don't think they'd be the right spot to help Murray rebound in confidence and performance. Why not trade him to the Islanders or Hurricanes? Both teams have great goalie coaching that can get Murray out of his funk, and neither seems to have anything to lose so long as Sens retain (Isles underperforming in inaugural UBS season, Canes could find Murray helpful to backup Freddie if Raanta gets hurt again).

They would save money for 2 years of Murray over 3 years of Kane. Obviously that depends on what happens with the NHL investigation

Totally agree about Paul he is probably one of the best 3rd line players in the game rn. I would love for sens to keep him, I think as early as next season or the year after a third line of Formenton - Paul - Sokolov would be great, Would also free up the option to move White for assets
