Additional Details:
Ok hear me out: any trade involving Price is really complex. I think he'll be be easily good enough to justify being paid 5Mper in the last 4 years of his deal, especially behind that avs team. However, for this deal to be made Price would have to recover first and play multiple games down the stretch this year. This type of scenario is the only way I see a trade being made.

Yeah okay you might not be interested and that's fine but every team listens to a Price @ 5M offer if he's back in shape... pretty small price to pay too

    Capitals and Flames say no.

That would be a fine price for Toffoli.

Weber doesn't retire, it would hurt Nashville to much.

Any Price trade is an off season one and his value likely depends on how he looks when he comes back. People on here can argue all they want but he still holds positive value among NHL GMs and where that value lands will depend on the rest of this year. Best case scenario he plays good, they retain and get multiple 1st round picks for him. Worst case he looks average to below and they just keep him as a leader for the next generation.

Yeah Price traded after this season if he comes back and shows he's still performing. I just don't think he's useful enough to keep him in a rebuild, he'll just prevent us from getting 1OA

Lucic will cost a 2nd at most to dump next summer after his bonus is paid, is Armia even an upgrade over him? Wold is a top 5 goalie prospect in the entire league, his value is up there with Caufield to us

No Bc aging curves are a real thing and outside of the playoff run he has been a mediocre to below average starter for the last 3 years. His expected saa and gas in those spans have been brutal

Price won’t be worn 5m at this current decline rate.

Capitals aren't going to make a trade with Hags that involves buying I imagine. With all the prospects proving they are ready to play (Leason, Protas, McMichael, perhaps Jonsson-Fjallby), I don't think the Caps look to buy, and will most likely only look to dump Hagelin to a team like Arizona.
