Honestly, it probably is not a good fit.
I really like Fiala.
Unfortunately, the Jackets brought Roslovic in because he is a hometown hockey product, to help solidify the team and bring guys who genuinely want to play here in Columbus.
It helps immensely that he has talent and is a center.
Fiala is a winger, and right now the Jackets have an abundance of wingers and very few true centers (Bjorkstrand, Voracek, Laine, & Nyquist).
Jenner is excelling now at center, but he really prefers LW.
They tried Texier and Domi at center, but they both seem to play much better on the wing (LW).
Which leaves Jenner, Roslovic, Kuraly, and Cole Sillinger as the most viable center options right now.
Otherwise, the trade would probably be a good one.
