What’s stopping Ottawa from just doing the Hertl trade themselves??

Hertl having a 3 team trade list? What are the odds OTT is a team he'd have on that list?

Not much worse than Boston, not being on it is equal to not being on it

Point%
Boston - 12th
Ottawa - 32nd

GF/GP
Boston - 13th
Ottawa - 27th

GA/GP
Boston - 14th
Ottawa - 32nd

Goal Diff
Boston - 14th
Ottawa - 30th

Ottawa has a game in hand on Boston yet Boston has 13 more points than Ottawa does laugh

Ottawa Goal - Try to get the #1 pick
Boston Goal - Try to compete for a cup

I think you need to re-evaluate "not much worse than Boston" LMAO

Look at your numbers, how many are top 5? How many are top 10? Boston isn't on the list, Ottawa isn't on the list. If you aren't among the three, then you are not among the three.

Boston out

What does any of that have to do with Hertl's 3 team list? Oh right nothing at all. Boston is in need of a top 6 center. Someone that can play with Hall and eventually Marchand/Pastrnak when Bergeron calls it a career. Boston (unlike Ottawa) has actually had success in recent years and at least been to a cup final. Boston is also an original 6, big market team. The odds of Boston being a team he'd ok a deal to are significantly higher than Ottawa....whose been an NHL cellar dweller for what, 5 years now?

Technically it’s a 9%chance that they are one of those 3 teams. Maybe write Hertl a letter and ask for us??
