Just one? I have to choose one 90s or later so sorry to all the older greats I just didn't know you.

I think Sundin was the best but with Matthews and Tavares he isn't the biggest need. I think Dougy's feistiness would be my choice.

I do get the Clark choice. Definitely wasn't the best but we could use that style player.

Honestly though just adding Sundin to have that 1-2-3 at c would be nuts.

I feel like if they could take someone out of the past like this it'd be Clark. He's really exactly the type of player they need, a nice Power forward top line left wing.

But then again, I might be biased because I'm a big fan of Clark.

Clarke, Gilmour, Bower, and Sundin would all be incredibly fun to watch, but I think the best for this Leafs group would be a defenseman like McCabe, Kaberle, and of course, Salming. Those would be my finalists anyways

Clark isnt even the 10th best option as much as i loved him. Mats, Mogilny, Gilmour, Salming ,Sittler, Horton, etc etc all better fits, especially in todays game.
And Clark would be suspended for like 20 games for half the stuff he was able to do back then
And you didnt even spell his name right!

the great thing about very good centers is that they can also play the wing very well

Doesn't belong here, but I'm too lazy to construct posts of my own:

Anaheim: any of Teemu Selanne, Scott Niedermeyer or Chris Pronger. Honorable mention to the prematurely late Ruslan Salei.

NY Islanders: any of Bryan Trottier, Mike Bossy or, in light of their current d struggles, Denis Potvin. Honorable mention to the 110%-effort-at-all-times John Tonelli.

Los Angeles: Luc Robitaille.

Sundin would be my choice as he is best fit for the NHL play now. al the others I feel wouldn't be the same players they were in their prime now than they were back in the day.

None of those ducks picks can go wrong but I gotta say Pronger even though somehow he's the "worst" of the three (least best? You can't call any of them worst), but his nastiness and physical dominance on the ducks? Yeah...

Gotta be bossy for the isles. They need to score! Doesn't he have the highest career goals per game?

And while Robitaille is a kings hero, how can it not be the great one?

Borja Salming was the fittest hockey player I have ever seen. He would excel in today’s game.
