Wait but seattle aren't remotely cap stuck why would they lose Geekie for 0 compensation that really doesn't feel respectful of the kraken there 🧐

Oh boy the whole goalie fallacy thing again where people are judging off 5-10 game sample sizes instead their entire current career phase of 100+ games

It's like every post these days

I don’t think that Vancouver trade is worth it for the pens. Boeser was only slightly better than Kapanen last year and Kapanen is slightly better than Boeser this year stat wise. I’m sure Boeser will be the better player more than not, but having to add a decent prospect, a 1st, a 3rd, and 4th liner quality player is too much for a pens team with like no farm system.

I think Vancouver would take that deal if they are looking to trade Boeser.

With thE Geekie signing i was looking for an RFA that they can sign without giving any compensation like what they did with Heinen this year and it think i went with geekie because !.) i think he has great upside and 2.) he gets at most 1.5 mil with his next contract, So i will probably change that
As For the Fluery signing he really want to come back to Pittsburgh, He threated Chicago with retirement just so he could play ob Pittsburgh this year. i Think if Pittsburgh gives him a contract he will take it and for his age and play before Chicago he can get 5 mil AAV next year but he will take 3.5 Mil AAV so he can finish his career with Pittsburgh
