I don't think SJ needs anymore LHDs.

SJ says no, they wont retain on KAne and Matheson is not a big enough upgrade than Simek, (let alone that 4.8mil contract for 5 yrs on a team with bad bloated and long defensive contracts) and they gve up a 3rd and get Blomqvist, who is at best a high-ish midlevel prospect?

No chance. (the buy out is less than the retention anyways)

Take out matheson and blomqvist and simek and and offer a 1st and zucker for kane and 3.5 retention is probably closer

If this was Kane from 5 years ago or Patrick Kane then yes I’d agree. But Evander Kane at 3.5 million is a cap dump. He’s a dbag and he’s got 1 foot out the door of the league. Players don’t like playing with him cause he is a jerkoff. No team will take him even at 3.5 million without sweeteners.

Lol not a chance. Don't forget Evander has negative value right now. Especially with that cap dump. SJ should take what they can get for him and move on, simple!
