Swapping Carlo for Miller and Hamonic just doesn't make Boston that much better (if at all better) tbh. It leaves them with only 1 top 4 RHD.

As the Canucks have shown, that's not a recipe for success.

Oh, you could make a very strong argument that swapping Miller and Hamonic for Carlo makes them better, cause right now, Vancouver doesn't have ANY top 4 Right-handed D-men. Poolman is only a 3rd pairing guy at best on an iffy contract, and Myers and Hamonic are only borderline second pairing defenders, and even that assessment might be grasping at straws a bit

I was saying from Boston's POV it makes them worse because as you said, Hamonic is hardly a suitable replacement.
