I just wonder if Barrett is struggling cuz of the team or he’s just not good. Cuz if it’s him, then this is super risky for Ottawa. Brannstrom can easily rack up points

Idk, I'm interested in Hayton for sure. Obviously he has a little more draft pedigree and is a year younger but on the other hand Brannstrom's shown a lot more than he has. I don't mind 1 for 1 but if Arizona added a little something that'd probably be ideal. If Ghost can go crazy with tho yotes then in beyond sure that Branny could as well.

Yeah but brannstom isn’t great in his own zone and they got a lot of younger better d-man IMO (sanderson,JBD,Thomson) To me Brannstom is expendable. I really believe Arizona just can’t develop prospects and Barrett would be a good potential guy to play with stuzle cause of his release and how smart he is and any deal involving young guns is risky

I think this is very interesting and I would be tempted to accept something like this.


The expectations for Brannstrom were hyped up, simply because he was the key piece in the Mark Stone trade.


I think those expectations need to be tempered with a small dose of reality.
