Wild decline. Kevin Fiala is a special piece, so if we were to trade him, we'd want a special piece back. The trade starts with a 1st round pick or a great prospect

i don’t think that hughes trade is close in terms of pieces. ty smith is probably the only player in there the canucks would have significant interest in and he’s had a rough start. it probably defeats the purpose of the trade but i bet the canucks would want luke hughes in return

The Fiala trade seems ok, but the price we are paying on Quinn Hughes is way too high. Devils quite comfortably walk away from that one.
