My mouth is watering if I'm a Coyotes fan. I think all the deals are fine except for the Islanders trade. I know Gostisbehere is having a good season, but I still think that's a gross overpayment by the Isles, even with dumping Hickey's buried penalty. And what if Ghost suddenly drops off with a change of scenery? Then the Isles are in even deeper trouble than they already are

I agree the Islanders trade is a gross overpay. Didn't the Coyotes just get him with picks as a cap dump?

I also don't like the Kessel trade for the Oilers. McDavid plays best with high effort guys who go to the front of the net which Kessel isn't.

While I agree Boyd is having a decent year, I don't think he gets that much. I'm thinking 4th and possibly a 6th or 7th for him, since he isn't anything more than a bottom 6 forward for any legitimate contender.

Kessel might still be a good addition, just not for the 1st line. On the 2nd or 3rd line he could excel.

avs don't need a depth goalie. They just got stuck with some bad timing having to play their 3rd string against the Leafs

Frankie is on a conditioning assignment and is back to returning
Jojo is good in his 3rd goalie role and platoon back up
And the have a promising goalie in Annenun in the AHL who just won AHL goalie of the month

They are fine in net and in no way is Wedgewood worth a 3rd, he is a 3rd goalie at best
