I hate Ritchie’s AAV I actually don’t mind the player. Honestly when I’m the 4th line with Simmonds and Spezza he has looked pretty good. But it’s too much money to have on the 4th line for a capped out team like the Leafs. But absolutely he should be moved before any Dmen, they have internal options for Ritchie it gets dicey trying to replace Dermott or Holl from within.

That’s a very good point, I guess I can’t complain too much about the defense this year with our GA. I was basing it more off this year in terms of Holls play vs Kerfoot and Bunting as it is a different team, but you make a very good point about the last 2 playoffs.


I’m not against getting another D, I still think that is important just not the priority. They need another goal scorer come playoff time. And it doesn’t necessarily have to be a big name ticket. There are some nice cheap options out there.

Dan Vladar has earned 11 of a possible 12 points in his first six starts with Calgary. He’s up to 5-0-1 and a 0.938 SV%.

He is supposed to be back in January. Maybe he does not come back till game 1 lul

Really surprised Vegas aint trying to slow Eichel down like Tampa did with Kucherov and get him back via game 1 of the playoffs

As in order to make it work should everyone return

Janmark, Smith, Carrier and one of Brooks or Amadio got to go. Allowing for a 21 man team

I didn't find a clear explanation of waiver priorities other than the "reverse standing" priority based on last year performance. Anyone got a link with the addition rules (if there is any)?

Anyway, happy that MTL gives him a try, Chiarot will be gone, and probably Kulak, so lots of minutes to give to LD

It's last year's reverse standings before Nov. 1, then it's this year's reverse standings

That’s how it works during the NHL season by a certain date, then it transitions to during the season it’s based on standings currently. So I believe Ottawa had first priority-> Arizona -> NYI -> MTL -> etc etc

San Jose needs help scoring - I’d expect they’re looking to move Labanc and add a shooter (maybe even take Kessel idk) (not that Labanc can’t be a shooter but Bob Boughner has never really given Labanc a leash - basically a tight leash since day 1). Labanc has been in the dog house for too long and should just be traded at this point.

And no; it won’t be Kane. I’d personally predict Labanc and Kane are gone by TDL.

I have an idea. What if Arizona relocated to Houston. They could use the astrodome for games and make that area of Houston a professional sports complex or something like this. Add stores, restaurants, and attractions to this area and then you got a nice hub of entertainment. I know the astrodome is huge so they can add stuff in it. I don’t know. Give me feedback
