Sorry, but this is kind of ... not going to come even close to winning the cup. Only one player. What if he gets a penalty?

great play based solely on his hockey sense to catch a goalie napping due to not expecting a shot cause he has one hand on his stick the shot itself was just a little flutter so that wasn't that special but the surprise was well done.

The shot wasn't special?

Are you kidding me?

One-handed backhander is incredibly difficult which only like 2-4 players in like the past decade could pull off. The fact that Sid got it over the glove just puts him into his own category, again, for like the 100th time.

Respectfully disagree. Twas not a little flutter it had some juice on it. Plus skated right thru 4 defenders.

If you watch the highlight it is a soft middle of the net shot.... the goalie is anticipating crosby pulling it to his forehand and releasing a shot which is why it is a great play he caught the goalie off guard. The shot was not that special. As for the skating through 4 players i think the correct way to state that would be skating between 4 players. Crosby only had to beat 1 player (albeit a good defensive forward in ryan orielly) as Schultz runs a subtle pick on the other forward and buffallos defence were for some reason so wide they were no where to be found. Again the play was great but only because it takes a high hockey IQ to think of throwing a weak backhand at the net to catch a goalie off guard. The play is equivalent to catching a goalie cheating off the post.... its not a crazy amazing athletic feat but a intelligent play. If he had ripped a backhand off the bar down one handed that would be impressive.
Are these one handed goals as amazing as well

The fact that he raised the puck over the goalie's glove, ON THE BACKHAND, WITH ONE HAND is what makes this shot absolutely insane. If you still don't understand then I'm done explaining.

"Not a crazy amazing athletic feat"

Yeah ok im done.
