1) over cap
2) Barre-Boulet gets sent down before either Katchouk or Raddysh
3) Rutta works excellently with Hedman.
4) They're not trading off the active roster.

1) and 2) pair in nicely. That is a simple send down. How is that delusional xD

Because the coaching staff by their words and actions love the Colton Katchouk Raddysh line. Starting games and periods regularly, also play the shift after goals for and against generally considered the most important times in games. Victor Hedman has better numbers when Rutta is his partner than anyone else .
Process over outcome is Cooper's mantra the Katchouk and Raddysh thing is reminding me of Yanni Gourde during the 19/20 season he went 37 games in a row without a goal and still kept getting the ice time.

I love that line. From the games I’ve watched, it’s insane to think they replaced more than half of their middle six with cheap depth vets and kids in the AHL. Truly a testament to the organization and their ability to find, evaluate and develop talent that keeps the big league roster churning. Raddysh scored last night so that’s great news.
