Would they trade him do you reckon or just want him to develop some more in the AHL and get more confidence?

I would think this is to get him some confidence and let him develop a bit more. He hasn't been terrible, but definitely not met expectations. If I'm BT, I would be listening to offers or trying to use him as a trade chip. Still a lot of hype around him.

The guy has missed so much pro time it's incredible. He should be in his 4th pro season whether that be Stockton or the NHL, he missed a whole season due to injury, recovery from that injury was done during Covid season which was tough, he has only played 101 games in North America outside of junior, that's not a lot of time to develop and evaluate a prospect at a position that peaks later. I think he gets a little seasoning in the AHL and Zadorov walks after this season.
