With how Trocheck is playing right now, he can want whatever, he's not getting it.

As for KK... Kk's genuinely been out best player since the start of the west coast road trip.

Yeah I don't watch much canes games but he seems to have picked it up recently.

In regards to trochek, he's a top 6 c hitting Ufa before 30. It's a very thin market most years so they often get overpaid.

To be clear doesn't mean you have to be the ones to overpay trochek. Just I suspect he gets it

He won't get it. He's a 3C right now with a long list of injury issues. He won't get a long term deal, he might get a higher AAV though.

KK's been excellent recently. Ever since they moved him to C.

3c's score about 35 points per year. He's a good 2c. Does have injury issues.

Over the last 3 years he's 39th in points by a c (http://www.nhl.com/stats/skaters?reportType=season&seasonFrom=20192020&seasonTo=20212022&gameType=2&position=C&filter=gamesPlayed,gte,1&sort=points,goals,assists&page=0&pageSize=50) and 36th in points per game.

Considering their are 32 teams in the league now that's a good 2c.

His scoring is very similar to Karlsson, Suzuki, Horvat etc. His Ufa comparisons are guys like Brock Nelson and Kevin Hayes

he's also spend a 2 years in the last 3 playing at Right wing, rendering your little comparison here pointless.

He's a good player. But he's injury prone and has not been the same since doing his ACL in the playoffs last season
