Looks much better but it requires Maurice to put Lowry on the 4th line where he should be but it just won't happen, he loves Lowry for some reason, guess he's doesn't like goals.. Lol

Don’t get me wrong I really like lowry but with the team we have he belongs on the 4th line.
Although I would love to have him posted up on the second pp in front of the net as well

He's always been a 4th line player, the Jets have had the talent for years to put Lowry on the 4th line but Maurice just loves his lack of offensive ability too much to put him where he belongs.. haha

I don't think he should get a single second of PP time, he has no hands or quickness to bang in rebounds.

I'd like him on the 4th line but that's it.

I can understand where you’re coming from completely. But Adam Lowry is a consistent + player and has been pretty much his whole career he’s obviously not a great finisher or a great setup guy but he makes up for that with winning puck battles and keeping the puck in the offensive zone. He would be a hard guy to move out of the way so the goalie can’t see the puck which the jets are lacking on both power plays. It’s funny how the jets are always up against a “hot goalie” right haha

I've been hearing those comments about Lowry for years but he could do the same things he does from the 4th line with a few less minutes a game while a better center who could score or help his linemates score could center a two-way third line.

Lowry scored last night against NJ, that was his first point in 8 games and was the 8th goal of an 8-4 win with like 3-4 minutes left so a pretty meaningless goal really, that's not good enough.

Just so you know I’m not disagreeing with you at all. I’m just saying Lowry is not the problem on this team and a net front presence on both power plays will help. I think Lowry is better suited on the fourth line as well.

I disagree, I think Lowry's usage is a major problem for this team and has been for years, having a 3rd line that chipped in on the scoresheet at an average 3rd line rate would be huge for this team, the Jets have constantly had mediocre contributions from its bottom six and that needs to change if they're ever going to take another step and the one constant in the bottom six has been Lowry at 3C, something needs to change there. Now I don’t think Lowry is this teams only problem but he is one of them, he needs to produce more offense plain and simple but he just can't.

I agree that some net front presence on the PP (and throughout the game) is necessary I just don't think it should be Lowry, I think Dubois should be the net front guy on the 1st PP and Wheeler should be the net front presence on the 2nd PP.

And those are all fair points I think a fairer point would be that wheeler scheifele and Connor being one of the worst defensive lines in the league and giving up way more scoring chances than they take. Even though lowry doesn’t produce he certainly doesn’t give up many chances. He’s an elite defensive forward but I can get where you’re coming from if you’re hoping he’ll gain some sort of consistent offensive finishing you’re out of luck I’m afraid. But he doesn’t hurt this team in the slightest

We'll have to agree to disagree, Lowry's lack of offense very much hurts this team.
