The Isles sit dead last in goals for, and 5th in goals against...moving a 1st for an expiring dman seems like a poor strategy...

sure i think chiarot's worth a first. no i dont think he's worth bellows and a first. its either a first by itself or bellows and a 2nd.
as much as chiarot would be a nice fit on NYI i dont think its wise for them to be buying considering they arent doing too well

I think the Isles would be best pulling a 18/19 Blues at this point, in terms of trade deadline strategy (not firing the coach etc). Keep playing, don't sell, if you're in a playoff spot or near a playoff spot by March get a depth piece for a mid round pick and then see what happens. Save your first and prospects for next year if there's a bounce back
