This is an overreaction and considering the isles aren’t making the playoffs, no shot I’d make this trade. Can’t keep giving away picks and prospects, this team needs young players on ELCs

Thank you, someone who finally understands chychrun’s value. I’d try to get that top 10 protection down to 7 or 5, but otherwise yes, you’d have a deal

Well I mean Chychrun is a stud who would be here for the Long haul. I wouldn't classify him as a rental type player. Also, if the team continues to stink they'll keep a top-10 pick. I totally understand losing the other picks/Raty/Bolduc but Chych is actually worth it IMO

Last season Raty had 6 points in 30+ liiga games, now Raty has 11 points in 14 liiga games. That production is just under lundells D+1 PPG. You are smoking crack if you want to trade him

For the islanders , giving up all those assets is not worth it. They already have two #1 defenseman and Dobson is still developing. The goal is to reunite Pelech+Pulock , they don’t need to overpay for a defenseman. It can be solved with Salo or any decent mobile D who can play with Dobson.

The only way you give up Raty is for
an elite forward. It’s crazy how we’re talking about giving all this up for Chychrun when we gave up a better defenseman (Toews) for two 2nd rd picks lol

Also Chychrun is very good but i wouldn’t ignore the fact that he’s been brutal this season

And Michael Dal Colle was a 95 point player in juniors. Doesn't mean anything. I'm not saying Raty won't be good but I'm tired of over valuing our own prospects and waiting 3-5 years to see if they pan out or not. I want someone proven who can help immediately

I don't think you understand the difference. Dal colle improved by a slight margin in his D+1, Raty has almost doubled his point totals in a league that's significantly harder while playing just over 1/3 of the games he played in his draft season, his analytics are great too. raty has a better skill set too. Your impatience and the impatience of this whole fanbase is why nobody likes us. This season is done, let salo play let bolduc play and do what any normal team does when they suck and not trade away young studs
