But I did have a slight suspicion during last nights game that CHI and NYR might be working on some sort of deal.

Maybe, I just hope it's not a quantity vs quality trade. Kane I'm sure would like to play with the bread man again. I just don't want Schneider and Kravstov and more magic beans that could be nothing for someone with serious REAL value.

For sure. Also, I'm still wondering if Cat's offense is more a product of who he is playing with. Don't get me wrong, I love Cat. But It would suck to give him a giant contract and find out he can't really produce at the same level without Kane. But he has turned into a pretty great all around player. There are just some things about him that make me worried about consistency and longevity.

IF Kane gets traded I want it to be to the NYR. Breadman used to be my favorite hawks and I would love to see him and Kane back together and competing for a cup. I agree though that if the hawks don't get at one of Laf, Kakko, or maybe Miller or Lundqvist we lose the trade

I think Laf's trade value is a bit higher than some of the trades listed on ACGM. I also think the Rangers are much more willing to move him than many Ranger fans believe.

Lafreniere to Chi would be the best outcome to happen this season. Hawks fans need to realize Fleury is not our long term goalie and Lankinen isn’t either. And I have a lot of hope for Slavin to be a future SOLID 3C. Aka it’s time to build the future
