Pleas give positive feedback. If my trades are horribly off, tell me what I should do to make them more fair.

It's obvious that Caufield isn't going to be as good as people say he is, but ur not serious with that trade right?

      Also, i think toronto declines

"if they were to rebuild" as you say, Caufield one of the two players they absolutely keep, and they don't go after an aging Vlasic even half-retained.

id say retain half on price trade and take out lavoie

hoffman trade isn't bad value wise but i doubt sakic would want him in the locker room.

i don't think vancouver can afford gallagher even with retention.

2x 2nd's to habs for taking vlassic

I'm not sure I'd want Petry at all at this point. He is having an awful year and, at his age, regression to the mean is uncertain. With the remaining term on that deal, it could go very badly very quickly.

a fire sale that doesn't include Chiarot seems highly unlikely.

Vancouver doesn't have the cap space for Gallagher nor do we need anymore expensive bottom six forwards.

23pts in his first 48 NHL games as a 19/20yr old. Sounds like he'll be just as good or better than ppl say he is

Oilers dont even think about taking that Price contract. He is always injured and contract is brutal.
Good luck ever getting rid of it.

Leafs, Canucks, and Oilers have no desire to take on that cap (or give up assets) for aging players. Drouin and Hoffman are in the same position.
We see this all the time. Folks think a "rebuild" is dumping bad value contracts for less and cap and young assets. Nope this doesn't happen.

Hard no from MTL, we aren't giving up Caufield, especially during a rebuild.
