These have got to be jokes right? Barrie is useless defensively and is only good offensively when playing with McJesus and Draisaitl. Pulju is overrated. Bear and Jarvis have been excellent for us, so why would we trade them. Jarvis also wasn’t being considered in an Eichel package so why would Carolina trade him for what would be a useless player of Barrie if he came here, and then Pulju.

Not the package for Lindholm we'd be looking for. Rodrigue is a nice goalie prospect but Lukas Dostal is a better one. Neither Koekkuk nor Samorukov is an improvement on Benoit and Mahura. Turris is a useless mouth in light of Zegras, McTavish, Steel and Groulx and would be waived upon arrival. In short, nothing in your prospect pool that you'd like to give up is something to make us think about trading Hampus.

So he's just meh defensively

Value for Connor Brown is good and it would be a smart move for Edmonton¸

But Ottawa needs him even more though. They should be looking to extend him, not trade him but not a lot of what Sens management does make sense so...

the Yamamoto, Brown, Pulju, and Koskinen trades are all pretty meh I think. Yamamoto is better than Blackwell. Brown is just not that good of a player (he's good but not 1st round pick good). Carolina isn't trading bear and edmonton isn't (or at least shouldn't) trade Pulju. and Koskinen is having a good year right now so why trade him plus solid draft picks for an older, potentially worse rental?
