I think I'd actually keep Perrault around. He's not doing too bad, he's versatile, and he puts in the work. Decent depth and support while we make adjustments and bring up some young guys.

the reason i traded perreault is basically for those reasons. i'd love keeping him around but he actually has value of the one year deals the habs have

Goals from the defense isn't the Oilers issue. It's the bottom 6 getting caved night in night out.

Habs have plenty of bottom 6 guys.. EDM is tight against the cap, any bottom 6 guys with salary you'd want to move out?
