In terms of a player, I think he's exactly what we are missing. I think he's matured as a player and its a different era here now. I think I'm in a minority on this, though.

Pretty terrible trade for the hawks. I wouldn't give up hagel for yamamoto 1 for 1 at this point.

The original concept was Yama 1st for Lankinen, Hagel, Kalynuk. Oilers fans didn't like it. IDK where to meet in the middle, or if each side is overrating their guy.

Oh hawks fans definitely overrated hagel but it's because he's young, on a good contract, and the heart n soul of this team. He's the hardest working player on the ice every night. You want your prospects to see how hard he works. He's basically the opposite of strome.

I agree, Dickinson hasn't been a fit and at least Kassian would fill a role.
